BIGBANG’s Daesung to reunite with Yoo Jae Suk in “How Do You Play?”

BIGBANG member Daesung will finally reunite with Yoo Jae Suk!

Media outlet Star News shared an exclusive report on October 16 stating that Daesung will be making a guest appearance in one of the episodes of MBC’s variety program “How Do You Play?” It was also reported that filming for the episode is already finished

The program is currently hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and other cast members such as Ha Ha, Lee Mi Joo, Lee Yi Kyung, Park Jin Joo, and Joo Woo Jae. 

After the news rapidly circulated around the industry, the production team of the program shared their official statement, “Yes it’s true. Daesung will be a guest on ‘How Do You Play?’ The airing date of the episode featuring Daesung is not yet confirmed.”

Daesung will be in one show with Yoo Jae Suk after eight years. The last time the two were on one screen was one BIGBANG guested on the SBS variety program “Running Man.”

Meanwhile, Daesung and Yoo Jae Suk first worked together 13 years ago through the SBS variety program “Family Outing.”

With Daesung’s appearance in the MBC variety program, will be his official comeback to major broadcasting stations after he enlisted in the military. This will also be his first time to appear on national television as a solo artist and not from YG Entertainment. 

Daesung announced in January of this year that he officially left YG Entertainment after 16 years. Although he is no longer part of the agency, he reassured fans that he will forever be a BIGBANG member. 

He also shared that he signed an exclusive contract with the R&D Company which created a team for him called “D-LABLE.” Daesung will be pursuing solo music and other activities. 

Aside from “How Do You Play?,” Daesung is also confirmed to be a judge in the upcoming MBN trot survival program titled “King of Singers.”
