Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee are the new muse of “The Face Reader” director

Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee will possibly work with “The Face Reader” director through a new series. 

On March 6, various media sources revealed that Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee were picked as the main leads of the upcoming series titled “Delusion.” The new K-drama will be the next work of director Han Jae Rim. 

Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency CJES Studio commented on the casting news. According to the agency, “We received the offer for the new K-drama ‘Delusion.’ It is one of the works that the actor is reviewing.”

Han So Hee’s side also confirmed that the actress received the offer. According to 9ato Entertainment, “Han So Hee is currently reviewing the offer and she is positively considering it. Nothing has been decided for now.”

The upcoming series “Delusion” will be about a painter who was asked to paint a mysterious woman in the setting of Gyeongseong in the 1930s. The series will depict its story on the webtoon of the same name created by Hongjacga. 

The series will be helmed by director Han Jae Rim who is famous for the hit movies “The Face Reader,” “The King,” and “Emergency Declaration.”

According to reports, director Han Jae Rim has been working on “Delusion” since 2021. Aside from “Delusion,” director Han Jae Rim is also set to direct his first ever K-drama which is “The 8 Show.” 

Ryu Jun Yeol will possibly portray the role of the painter named Yun I Ho. Han So Hee on the other hand will possibly act as Song Jeong Hwa, the mysterious woman in the play. 

If Ryu Jun Yeol officially confirms his casting, this will be his third time to work with director Han Jae Rim. They first met through the movie “The King.” Ryu Jun Yeol will be one of the leads in director Han Jae Rim’s upcoming series “The 8 Show.” 

Meanwhile, this will be the first time that Han So Hee will be working with both Ryu Jun Yeol and director Han Jae Rim. The top actress is also expected to star in the upcoming K-dramas “Gyeongseong Creature Season 2” and “Dotgabi.”
