NCT Taeil to postpone activities after getting injured from a minor accident

NCT Taeil will not be active in the industry for some time.

On August 15, various media reported that NCT member Taeil was involved in a minor accident and sustained an injury. The reports revealed that the right thigh of Taeil got fractured, and he will undergo surgery and treatment.

The news shocked the fans even more because it happened during the holiday in Korea.

NCT Taeil’s agency shared an official statement regarding the condition of their artist.

According to the agency, Taeil was heading home from a schedule when he got involved in an accident. The NCT member was riding his motorcycle. He was immediately transparent to the hospital to check his condition and to treat his injury.

After the doctors examined his condition, they concluded that Taeil had a fracture in his right thigh and needed to get operated. The NCT member is preparing for the surgery at the hospital while receiving proper care.

SM Entertainment also announced that Taeil will not participate in any NCT activities for the time being. He will focus more on his treatment and recovery. The agency also asked for the understanding of fans regarding the situation.

They also confirmed that Taeil is withdrawing from the upcoming “NCT Nation: To The World” concert happening on August 26.

The agency also promised to prioritize Taeil’s health first above all else.

NCT will have its first-ever concert with all the members from the sub-units NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, and NCT U. The upcoming “NCT Nation: To The World” concert will be on August 26 at 6 PM KST at Incheon Munhak Stadium. The whole group will also release a new album after one year and eight months.
