NCT’s Jaehyun and Lee Chae Min will possibly be rivals in a new K-drama

NCT’s Jaehyun and actor Lee Chae Min are in discussion to be rivals in the upcoming K-drama titled “I Trust You.”

The agencies of the actors then shared their side regarding the casting news.

Jaehyun’s agency responded to the reports. According to SM Entertainment, “Jaehyun did receive the offer to star in the new series. Nothing has been decided yet and he is still reviewing the project.”

Lee Chae Min’s side also gave their response to the casting reports. According to Gold Medalist, “Yes, Lee Chae Min received the offer and it is one of the projects that he is currently considering.”

“I Trust You” will tell the story of two students. One is a victim of scchool violence and the other is the leader of the bully group. The K-drama will reveal how the weak will grow and be awakened and will not let the strong stepped over him again.

According to reports, the upcoming school K-drama will have a total of eight episodes. There are no official confirmation yet on the premiere and broadcast channel of the series.

NCT’s Jaehyun received the offer to star as Seo Il Nam, the victim of school violence. He came from a poor family and most of his classmates are well off. Lee Chae Min on the the other hand got the offer to be Yang Seo Joon in the play. He is the leader of the school bullying group. He also came from a rich family and he is popular for his good looks and intelligence. He is the one who bullies Seo Il Nam. One day, Seo Il Nam begins a part of Yang Seo Joon’s household.

If Jaehyun decides to join “I Trust You,” this will be his follow up K-drama after “Dear.M.” Meanwhile, Lee Chae Min is also set to lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama “Hierarchy” with Roh Jeong Eui.
