Lee Jong Suk will reportedly work with Go Min Si in a K-drama by “Goblin” director

Lee Jong Suk will reportedly be the male lead of the new K-drama by “Goblin” director Lee Eung Bok. 

According to various media insiders, Lee Jong Suk has been picked to replace rising actor Choi Hyun Wook as the K-drama partner of actress Go Min Si. The two will reportedly lead the new K-drama titled “I’m Against My Romance.”

Lee Jong Suk’s representative shared their official statement regarding his casting in the new series. The actor’s side revealed, “Lee Jong Suk received the casting offer to be the male lead of the upcoming series ‘I’m Against My Romance.’ He is currently reviewing the offer on a positive note.”

Last September, it was reported that Choi Hyun Wook and Go Min Si are the ones who will lead the upcoming K-drama. However, after a month, actor Choi Hyun Wook announced that he would be turning down “I’m Against My Romance.” His agency shared that the actor won’t be able to star in the new series because of schedule conflicts. 

“I’m Against My Romance” will showcase the real experience and struggles of two people reuniting and becoming lovers once again. The upcoming series will reveal if the rekindled love is just a continuation of their relationship or if they are entering into a new and unfamiliar relationship. 

The upcoming romance K-drama “I’m Against My Romance” will be the comeback of director Lee Eung Bok to romance. He is known for creating the hit romance series “Goblin,” “Descendants of the Sun,” and “Discovery of Romance.” Writer Kim Eun will be the one to pen the script of the upcoming series.

Lee Jong Suk will possibly play the character named Kim Tae Kyung. He is a person with great instincts and is known to be righteous. Go Min Si on the other hand will reportedly play the role of Hong Je Bi, a daycare teacher in the play.
