Korea Crate Joins Art Party!

Join us on October 26 at The San Diego Museum of Art for the Art Party's grand opening of "Korea in Color: A Legacy of Auspicious Images," an exciting exhibition that seamlessly blends contemporary art with treasured traditional masterpieces from the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea.

This exhibition is all about celebrating the vibrant world of color and the enduring symbolism deeply embedded in Korean art. It's the perfect prelude to a lively evening filled with indoor and outdoor experiences.

The event features both indoor and outdoor experiences from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Wander through the open-air activity terrace, partake in the festivities at the Museum's rotunda and galleries, and be sure to dress in your most vibrant and striking attire. Don’t miss out on this multi-sensory experience at the Museum!

What to expect:

Museum docents will be available for art discussions throughout the evening. Enjoy signature cocktails inspired by the exhibition from local and Korean brands, and indulge in great food from local restaurants.

Experience colorful video filming, witness live painting by Korean American muralist Kimchi Juice, and get creative with hands-on holographic watercolor and collage activities to craft your own unique landscapes inspired by Korean art.

Groove to the beats with DJ KSLY, catch live performances, and glam up with KPOP glitter eye makeup by GLMR.

Most importantly, satisfy your Korean snack cravings with delectable offerings from yours truly, KoreaCrate. We’ll be giving away mystery snack bags that you’ll surely enjoy and it’s for free!
