King Kong by Starship labelmates Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin confirmed to lead a new web novel-based K-drama

Labelmates Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin are officially confirmed to star in a new K-drama. 

It was recently revealed that both King Kong by Starship actors Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin will be the main leads of the upcoming K-drama “The Number You Have Dialed.”

“The Number You Have Dialed” will be based on the web novel of the same name by Geon Eomul Nyeo. It will showcase the romance story of a married couple who married for convenience. One day, their world crumbles after they receive a threatening phone call. 

According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will premiere on MBC and it will be part of the Friday and Saturday time slot. 

There is no confirmation yet on the other actors joining Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin in the series. 

Yoo Yeon Seok will portray the role of Baek Sa Eon in “The Number You Have Dialed.” He is considered the youngest spokesperson of the Blue House. He previously worked as a news anchor and had a stable career. He is known for his good looks, great skills, and elite family background. However, his life crumbles after receiving a phone call that his wife has been kidnapped. 

This will be the comeback of Yoo Yeon Seok to the romance genre after two years. In 2023, the actor starred in “A Bloody Lucky Day” with Lee Sung Min, Lee Jung Eun, Hong Xa Bin, Lee Kang Ji, and Tae Hang Ho. He also returned to the new season of  “Dr. Romantic” as a cameo appearance.

Chae Soo Bin on the other hand will portray the role of Hong Hee Joo. She is the wife of Baek Sa Eon. She also works as a sign language interpreter who developed a language disorder after an incident in her childhood. One day, she gets abducted by a stranger. 

This will be the comeback of Chae Soo Bin to K-dramas. She was last seen in the Netflix original series “The Fabulous.” Aside from “The Number You Have Dialed,” Chae Soo Bin will also join the cast of the upcoming KBS series “Treat Her with Caution.”
