Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won’s new drama confirms its premiere! 

The upcoming K-drama “Queen of Tears” starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won is officially confirmed to premiere this March. 

The first teaser photo for the upcoming series “Queen of Tears” has recently been released. 

“Queen of Tears” will tell the story of a conglomerate heiress and the legal director of the conglomerate group. The K-drama will showcase their love story and their struggles and crises as a married couple who will face everything just to stay together. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of directors Kim Hee Won and Jang Young Woo. The script will be penned by the hitmaker Park Ji Eun who also wrote for the K-dramas  “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” “Producer,” and more. 

“Queen of Tears” will be led by Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Na Young Hee, Kim Jung Nan, and more. 

Kim Soo Hyun will take on the role of Baek Hyun Woo, the legal director of the Queens Group. Kim Ji Won will portray the role of Baek Hyun Woo’s wife as well as the heiress of the Queen’s Group. 

“Queen of Tears” will officially air in March. The K-drama will be released through Netflix, TVING, and the broadcast channel, tvN.

This will be the comeback of Kim Soo Hyun to the K-drama world. He was last seen in the 2021 series “One Ordinary Day.” This will also be his reunion with writer Park Ji Eun after nine years. They both worked together in the K-dramas  “My Love From the Star” and “Producer.”

Meanwhile, this will also be the comeback of Kim Ji Won to acting after two years. She was last seen in the 2022 hit drama “My Liberation Notes.”
