Jung Hae In will possibly lead his first-ever romantic comedy series!

After almost 10 years since his debut, Jung Hae In will reportedly star as the main lead of a romantic comedy series. 

On October 2, media outlets reported that Jung Hae In has been picked to be the main star of the upcoming series titled “Fling and Shopping.” According to reports, Jung Hae In was given the role of a CEO.

With the circulating reports, Jung Hae In’s agency gave an official statement. FNC Entertainment stated, “It is true that Jung Hae In received an offer from the makers of the upcoming drama “Fling and Shopping.” But we want to clarify that nothing has been decided yet and Jung Hae In is still reviewing the proposal and the script.” 

The upcoming series “Fling and Shopping” will reveal the romance between a CEO of a cosmetic brand and a famous home shopping host. 

Jung Hae In got the offer to play the role of Lee Hae Seok, the CEO of the cosmetic brand. He has a bright and pleasant personality. He is also known to be the smart guy since his school days and has always been on top of his class. 

The production team of “Fling and Shopping” did not disclose the broadcast channel, premiere date, and the other actors that will reportedly work with Jung Hae In in the upcoming series.

Jung Hae In is known for his versatility as an actor and this time, he will possibly take on the challenge to star in a romantic comedy genre K-drama. 

In 2023, Jung Hae In led the second season of the military genre drama “D.P.” with Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, Son Suk Ku, Kim Ji Hyun, and Ji Jin Hee. 

If Jung Hae In decided to lead “Fling and Shopping,” this would be his next K-drama project. The actor is also expected to lead the upcoming movie “Veteran 2” with Hwang Jung Min, Oh Dal Soo, Jang Yoon Ju, Oh Dae Hwan, and Kim Shi Hoo.
