IU unveils her much-awaited album “The Winning”

UAENAs (IU's fandom) all over the world are celebrating the release of IU’s newest album “The Winning.” 

On February 20, IU finally released her much-awaited sixth mini album titled “The Winning.” She also released the music video for her title track “Shopper.” 

The sixth mini-album contained five tracks such as “Shopper,” “Holssi,” “Shh…,” ‘Love wins all,” and “I stan U.”

Unlike IU’s past releases, the top female idol released three music videos for her new album. She first unveiled the song “Love Wins All” wherein she worked alongside BTS V for the music video. The song easily topped the music charts and also received music show wins. 

Four days before the grand release, IU also revealed the music video for “Holssi.” This time, she collaborated with the cartoon character Tweety.

Meanwhile, on February 20 at 6 PM KST, IU released the official music video for “Shopper.” In the music video, IU worked with DPR Ian. 

Aside from the grand scale comeback of having three music videos, IU promoted her album through various entertainment programs and YouTube shows. She recently appeared in the famous YouTube show “​​뜬뜬 DdeunDdeun” hosted by Yoo Jae Suk.

Next month, IU will also begin its concert tour. It will begin in Seoul for four nights. IU will kick off her concert “H.E.R” at KSPO Dome on March 2, 3, 9, and 10. After the Seoul leg, IU will bring her concert to different countries across Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Aside from being busy with her album and concert tour, IU is also participating in the filming of her upcoming K-drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines” with Park Bo Gum, Moon So Ri, Park Hae Joon, Na Moon Hee, and more. It will premiere in 2025 and it will exclusively air on Netflix.
