(G)I-DLE Soyeon embroiled in dating rumors with “Single’s Inferno” participant Moon Se Hoon

Before August ends, we get another K-dating news.

(G)I-DLE leader Soyeon and “Single’s Inferno” participant Moon Se Hoon were recently photographed by a netizen. The photo circulated rapidly in an online community. It sparked rumors that the two were in a romantic relationship.

The two were seen together shopping at a clothing store as seen in the photo. Some were shocked by their combination. Some also pointed out that the netizen was inconsiderate for taking a photo of them closely and without permission.

After the rumors spread and media outlets reported about it, Moon Se Hoon’s agency stepped up and shared their side regarding the dating reports.

Chorokbaem E&M stated, “The dating rumors between Moon Se Hoon and Soyeon are false. The two are just friends.”

The agency clarified, “Moon Se Hoon and Soyeon only met at the department store by coincidence. Would they go around so openly if they were in a relationship?” They also stated that the two are friends but not super close.”

They concluded their statement by saying, “Moon Se Hoon is known for his lively and friendly personality. Soyeon is just one of the many celebrities that are close to him.”

Meanwhile, Soyeon’s side and Cube Entertainment haven’t responded to the circulating dating rumor.  

Moon Se Hoon made his name known to the public through the first season of the Netflix dating show “Single’s Inferno” in 2021. Just this year, Moon Se Hoon signed a contract with Chorokbaem E&M to begin his activities as a celebrity.  

Meanwhile, Soyeon debuted in 2018 as a member of Cube Entertainment’s girl group (G)I-DLE. Soyeon is known for being the leader and composer of the group. She has also participated in several entertainment programs as a solo like, “My Teenage Boy: Fantasy Boys,” “Unpretty Rapstar Season 3,” “Produce 101,” and more.
