The long wait is over! The very first K-drama that Disney+ announced to be producing is finally here.
On August 9, Disney+ officially released worldwide the first seven episodes of the webtoon-based K-drama “Moving.” The series will have 20 episodes, and starting next week, Disney+ will release two episodes per week.
“Moving” is a K-drama that showcases the stories of three students who attend the same school and try their best to hide their special abilities inherited from their parents. It will also reveal the efforts of the parents in protecting their children from being taken advantage of by other people around them. The story is based on the webtoon of the same name created by Kang Full.
Top Korean stars Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Beom, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Go Youn Jung, and Kim Do Hoon will give life to the story of the action thriller K-drama.
Ryu Seung Ryong (Joo Won), Han Hyo Joo (Mi Hyun), and Zo In Sung (Doo Shik) portray the role of secret agents born with extraordinary abilities.
Cha Tae Hyun (Kye Do), Ryu Seung Beom (Frank), and Kim Sung Kyun (Jae Man) are also humans with superpowers, and they are chasing secret agents.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Ha (Bong Seok), Go Youn Jung (Hee Soo), and Kim Do Hoon (Kang Hoon) portray the role of the three students who inherited the unusual abilities of their parents.
Lee Jung Ha’s character Bong Seok has the skill to fly, and Go Youn Jung’s character has exceptional athletic skills. She also can heal fast. Lastly, Kim Do Hoon’s character Kang Hoon has supernatural power and speed.
Director Park In Je, who also worked on the Netflix original K-drama “Kingdom Season 2,” is in charge of directing the series. Meanwhile, the same webtoon creator, Kang Full, penned the script.
“Moving” started its production back in 2021. After two years, the Disney+ original series has finally seen its light.
