Discover The Waterbomb Festival, South Korea’s biggest summer party
The Waterbomb Festival is a giant summer party that grew out of a fun Korean tradition - playing with water to escape the heat! It's been around since 2015, and it's become a massive event filled with games and entertainment, all with a water theme.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Waterbomb Festival without getting soaked! Water cannons blast the crowd during performances, and everyone gets into a friendly water gunfight, including the artists on stage.
Jessi, the undisputed queen of the festival, has been there since the beginning, bringing her energy and sizzling hot performance to the stage year after year. She's joined by a star-studded lineup – Blackpink, aespa, Simon Dominic, HyunA, Jay Park, Zico, Chung Ha, Kai, Hwasa, and many more have graced the Waterbomb stage.
This festival is a big deal for K-Pop fans. It's a launching pad for rising stars too - Sunmi and Kwon Eun Bi are just a few examples of artists who got a boost after hitting the Waterbomb stage.
This year, the party's even bigger! The Waterbomb Festival is going international, with events planned in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and more.
The lineup for this year in South Korea will be TWICE Nayeon, SHINee Taemin, Zico, Crush, Kiss of Life, BIBI, Jessi, and more.
