BLACKPINK’s Jennie to meet Lee Hyori in a KBS music talk show!

BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Lee Hyori, two IT girls from South Korea, will be in one show together!

On January 2, media source Herald Pop revealed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie will be the first guest of Lee Hyori in the KBS 2TV’s music talk show “The Seasons: Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet.”

The program is not new already but the host changes from time to time. The music talk show was first hosted by Jay Park, followed by Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon, and just recently, the famous siblings AKMU composed of Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Su Hyun led the program. Several celebrities guests on the show and participate in talking and singing. 

 The fourth season of the KBS music talk show will be hosted by Lee Hyori next and Jennie will be her first-ever guest. According to reports, Jennie participated in the filming that was held on January 2.

A representative of KBS shared their official statement regarding the circulating reports. According to them, BLACKPINK’s Jennie is confirmed to be the first guest of Lee Hyori in “The Seasons: Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet.”

“The Seasons: Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet” will air its first episode on January 5 at 11:20 p.m. KST.

Meanwhile, even before Jennie and Lee Hyori were seen together on screen, Lee Hyori already made their fans anticipate their interaction. People who were at the recording of the music show revealed that Lee Hyori asked Jennie to sign her on her label OA (Odd Atelier) as her contract with her current agency Antenna will expire soon. 

Jennie will kick off her 2024 with confirmed variety show appearances. Aside from “The Seasons: Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet,” Jennie’s fans will also see her in the new variety program “Apartment 404” which will premiere on February 15.
