BLACKPINK’s Jennie is now officially a CEO

BLACKPINK member Jennie has officially announced that she has established her own agency.

Jennie personally confirmed the reports that she has officially established her own agency called OA (ODD ATELIER). There were circulating rumors and reports that Jennie created her own label in November of this year. After almost a month, Jennie personally announced the launch.

Here is the official message of Jennie about  OA (ODD ATELIER):

Hi, this is Jennie.

This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received. I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK.

Thank you.

Jennie is the first BLACKPINK member to reveal her decision for her solo endeavors. Although all four members of BLACKPINK will have different agencies for their solo careers, the four will still be managed by YG Entertainment for all their group activities. The BLACKPINK members renewed their contract with YG Entertainment early this month.

For Jennie’s first solo activity, the BLACKPINK member will return to Korean variety shows. She will be joining the upcoming tvN variety program called “Apartment 404.” She will be working alongside  Yoo Jae Suk, Yang Se Chan, actors Lee Jung Ha, Cha Tae Hyun, and Oh Na Ra.

The upcoming Korean variety program will premiere in the first half of 2024. It will be directed by former “Running Man” and “Sixth Sense” PD, director Jung Chul Min.

Jennie made her official debut in 2016 as a BLACKPINK member under YG Entertainment. Even before she debuted, she already made an impact by collaborating with YG artists pre-debut. Aside from BLACKPINK activities, Jennie is successful with her solo activities in music, endorsements, and even drama.

Congratulations on your new venture, Jennie!
