Big Hit Music responds to reports about BTS’s RM, Jimin, V, And Jungkook's enlistment

Big Hit Music briefly shared their side regarding the impending military enlistment of BTS members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

It’s no secret that the remaining four members of BTS will most likely enlist in the military soon. These past few days, various media outlets reported that members RM and V will first enlist on December 11, and after only a day, remaining members Jimin and Jungkook will also enlist on December 12. The four BTS members will undergo basic military training then will proceed to their assigned units and will serve as active duty soldiers for 18 months. 

BTS’s agency Big Hit Music then shared their side regarding the circulating reports about the four members’ enlistment. According to Big Hit Music, “We cannot confirm the circulating reports.” It seems like the agency is not confirming the details of BTS members’ enlistment to protect their privacy. 

Because of these reports, there are speculations that Jimin and Jungkook will possibly meet BTS member Jin as an assistant at the training center. Fans are already anticipating the meeting of the three and how they will interact in the training center.

Three of the BTS members are currently serving in the military. Jin began his military duties in December 2022, J-Hope enlisted in active duty in April 2023, and Suga recently enlisted as a social worker in September of this year. 

While the three were away from the public, the remaining four members of BTS pursued their solo careers. RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook released solo music and albums. All of their releases were a hit as expected from the members of the most popular group. 

ARMYs will have to wait a little bit longer but it is expected that the seven members of BTS will resume their activities as a full group by 2025.
