Bae Suzy and Lee Jin Wook will reportedly reunite in a new film

“Doona!” co-actors Bae Suzy and Lee Jin Wook are both in talks to join the upcoming movie “7 O'clock Luncheon for the Broken Hearted.”

It was recently reported that Bae Suzy and Lee Jin Wook have been offered to star in the upcoming novel based film“7 O'clock Luncheon for the Broken Hearted.” The two will portray the role of a person who shares their heartbreak to a group.

“7 O'clock Luncheon for the Broken Hearted” will showcase the stories of people who recently had their heart broken. These people gather together at a restaurant and share their stories with one another. The upcoming film will base its story on the 2012 novel of the same name by Baek Young Ok.

Reports revealed that director Im Seon Ae will be responsible for the film. The director is known for creating the past movies “Ms. Apocalypse” and “An Old Lady.”

Bae Suzy offered to play the character named Yoon Sa Gang. She fell in love with a married man and had to let go of her feelings.

Lee Jin Wook on the other hand will play the character named Lee Ji Hoon. He is a consultant instructor. He will also share his experience and recent heartbreak with his long time girlfriend since college.

If Bae Suzy and Lee Jin Wook confirmed their casting to the upcoming film, this will be their reunion work after the Netflix original K-drama “Doona!” In the series, the two portrayed as ex-lovers.

Before Bae Suzy stars in another film, she will first lead the upcoming movie “Wonderland” that will premiere next month. She will work alongside Park Bo Gum, Choi Woo Shik, Jung Yumi, and more.

On the other hand, Lee Jin Wook has a lot of upcoming works as well. The actor will also join the upcoming film “Dark Nuns” led by Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been. He will also join the cast of the upcoming series “Sweet Home Season 3,” “To My Harry,” and the new season of “Squid Game.”
