When visiting Korea, you can not miss eating authentic samgyupsal. Although the restaurants in the touristy neighborhood are good, why not visit the samgyupsal place that K-Pop stars frequented? Some of the K-pop stars that were at Chupungryeong Kal Samgyupsal are Super Junior, EXO, TWICE, SHINee, CNBLUE, NCT, ASTRO, The Boyz, and more.

2) Golden Pig / Geumdwaeji Sikdang

Another samgyupsal place, but this time it’s not only a celebrity magnet place but Michelin guide approves of this restaurant. K-pop idols also love this samgyusal spot! Some of the idols that came here were EXO, NCT 127, aespa, BTS Jimin and Jungkook, and more. Taeyong recently celebrated his birthday with other NCT 127 members here.

3) Krappom (Thai Restaurant)

This may not be a local Korean restaurant but it is a must-try in Seoul! You know it’s the real deal when the Thai restaurant in Korea is frequented by local Thais. K-pop idols such as BLACKPINK Lisa, (G)I-DLE Minnie, and CLC’s Sorn are their customers. The restaurant is not only famous among the Thai people but Koreans also rave about this place. Must-try food: Spicy Pork Rib Soup and Thai Iced Tea.

4) Sinuiju Chapssal Sundae

This restaurant was featured on I Live Alone and SHINee’s Key shared that it has been SHINee’s favorite restaurant for years now (they ate here since they were still trainees). Super Junior’s Donghae also shared this restaurant on SNS. SHINee’s favorite order here is the Korean Blood Sausage Soup (Sundaeguk).

Tip: According to I Live Alone’s MC Jung Hyun Moo, many celebrities come here at dawn.

5) Dosan Bunsik

If you want to try Korean street foods in a creative way, you should check out Dosan Bunsik. 2NE1’s Dara, BLACKPINK, and SEVENTEEN were spotted here. Running Man also filmed their 611th episode here and praised their food.

Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), donkatsu sando (pork cutlet sandwich), and yukhoe gimbap (beef tartare gimbap) are the best sellers here.
